Who We Are?
In 1987, while the government in Somalia was functioning, Mr. Ali and Mr. Hussien, two friends, started retail pharmacies. The government collapse of 1991 was a setback and affected the supply of medicines. Slowly and carefully, by 1999, they had set up retail pharmaceutical shops with supplies from respectable manufacturers and adhered to their own thorough diligence in the absence of government quality control. By 2010, they had imported medicine and medical equipment from various manufacturers around the world. In 2014, they started importing their own branded pharmaceuticals. By 2020, the company had started the process of acquiring import licences for neighbouring countries like Kenya, Ethiopia, and Uganda. The Ukraine war was very unfortunate for the country and its people, but it also had a negative effect on the supply chain. In 2022, the company elected a new CEO with a background in Emergency Medicine. The company had always prioritised people over profit and had always stepped up when disaster struck its nation and assisted with humanitarian supplies.
